Are you looking for the best restaurants near Westgate Las Vegas Resort? I’ve got you covered!

There are such great dining options right in Westgate Hotel, that you won’t even need to go outside the resort.

We often stay at Westgate Resort & Casino when we’re in Vegas. We like the location and they have great amenities.

The Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino features a variety of different cuisines from around the world. Starting with award-winning Steakhouse to Asian sushi and Italian pizza and pasta, the Westgate is a powerhouse in gourmet food offerings.

Let’s take a walk through the many restaurants that are available.

The 'I Love Westgate' just outside the main lobby doors of the Westgate Las Vegas.

Restaurants at the Westgate Las Vegas

  1. Benihana

Welcome to upscale Japanese dining at one of the premier Westgate restaurants …

Starting with some of the basic sushi rolls like Dragon Roll and California Roll, there is also specialty sushi.

The Spicy Lotus Tempura Roll is lightly tempura battered, topped with spicy tuna, crab mix, sliced lotus root, and green tempura bits.

The famous Las Vegas Roll features Salmon, avocado, cream cheese, jalapeno, and spicy sauce on top.

Sashimi, nigiri and other sushi combinations round out the menu. There is also the noodle and tofu section, and the steak and chicken.

Some of my favorite parts of the menu are the specialty cocktails, where they’ve introduced Sake and Japanese Vodka into their drinks. Super creative!

Benihana’s Signature Punch Bowls is definitely something you don’t see every day. Baby Red Flower anyone? Perhaps a Hurricane for Two?

And of course, there’s green tea ice cream for dessert.

The dress code is business casual and reservations are recommended, either online through OpenTable or by phone.

  1. Edge Steakhouse

Voted the #1 Steakhouse in Las Vegas, and Diner’s Choice 2023, Edge Steakhouse has the market cornered on steak!

Featuring Filet Mignon or Wagyu, regardless of your steak dinner preference, you won’t go away hungry. For accompaniments, choose from caramelized onions, seafood, or sauces like bearnaise or peppercorn.

I’m always excited by the side dishes at these upscale restaurants. Mexican Street corn will always be my first choice of side. And who doesn’t love Black & White Truffle Mac & Cheese!

A six-course tasting menu is available as well, and the whole table is required to participate. What a fantastic dining experience.

As this is a very popular restaurant, you may want to make reservations well in advance. Take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the menu.

  1. Fresco Italiano

Westgate Las Vegas is fortunate to have a trifecta of power restaurants. Also voted Diner’s Choice 2023, only the best of Italian cuisine is what you’ll find at Fresco Italiano.

Italian food is my absolute favorite thing to eat in the world. Pasta, pizza, burrata, espresso, you name it, I love it.

My favorite appetizer is Bruschetta Burrata Board. It’s whipped burrata, pesto, tomato & basil, fig preserve, and vin cotto, served on grilled ciabatta bread.

For an entree, I have a hard time choosing between Fettuccine Alfredo, Porcini & Sausage Ragu and Quattro Formaggio Ravioli. What can I say, I’m a sucker for pasta and cheese.

I also believe some of the best desserts in the world are inspired by Italy. The Bomboloni is a delightful dish of lemon & ricotta doughnuts, raspberry, crème anglaise & Nutella dipping sauces.

And they do Affogato like nobody’s business. Their version is vanilla gelato, Nutella, chocolate ganache, candied hazelnuts, and freshly brewed espresso.

  1. Sid’s

Sid’s is located right off the main casino, it’s very convenient. So when you’re looking for breakfast near Westgate Las Vegas, you’ve come to the right place.

Named for Sid Siegel, a man who loved Las Vegas so much that he visited more than 500 times from his home in Florida. Sid was known for his appreciation of high standards, especially when it came to dining.

Sid’s has many specialties but I have to say my favorite is breakfast, Sid has his own breakfast feature. It’s made up of three eggs, tater tot hash brown, toast, choice of bacon, chicken apple sausage, sausage, or ham steak.

Their most recent breakfast menu features new items such as Croissant Sandwich, Avocado Toast, and Eggs Benedict.

  1. Cordovano Joe’s Pizza (SuperBook)

The SuperBook can be very exciting, and instead of a full sit-down meal, you might want to opt for a quick piece of pizza.

Joe’s is right there near the main exit doors of the Superbook, offering piping hot New York-style pizza, fresh out of the oven.

  1. Drafts Sports Bar & Grill Express (SuperBook)

If classic pub-style food is more your jam, Drafts Sports Bar & Grill is conveniently together with Cordovano Joe’s.

Sandwiches and hamburgers are the mainstay here, and I love that they feature a hot dog! Nathan’s Foot Long hot dog is a half-pound, foot-long, all-beef frank with a poppy seed bun.

You can eat it plain with your own fixings, or customize it three ways.

Make it Cuban with pulled pork, relish and Swiss cheese. Make it Chicago-style with onions, peppers, tomatoes and dill pickles. Or why not try it Chili Cheese style with Angus beef and cheese?

  1. International Bar (SuperBook)

The International Bar is an oasis inside the SuperBook offering you upscale cocktails and basic snacks.

  1. Nacho Tacos (SuperBook)

Build your own nachos, tacos, quesadillas, or taco rice bowl at Nacho Tacos. Choose from pork carnitas, shredded chicken tinga, and beef barbacoa, or make it vegetarian with beans and corn.

Again, conveniently located within the SuperBook, Nacho Tacos is another great option for dining in the Westgate.

  1. Rikki Tiki Sushi

If you’re in the mood for Asian cuisine, Rikki Tiki Sushi offers a fresh and creative take. Check out their made-to-order offerings for sushi, tempura and sashimi.

There’s even an ‘all you can eat Sushi’ meal, complete with starters and specialties, and even dessert! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a sushi feature like this. It’s a great option when you want to try lots of different items.

  1. Silk Road Asian Bistro

Located in the Benihana village, Silk Road is open for evening dining only from 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM. You can expect a fusion of culinary inspiration from China, Japan and Vietnam.

As expected at any Asian restaurant, you will find pot stickers, spring rolls, and BBQ steamed pork buns as appetizers.

Tonkotsu Ramen is a Traditional Japanese soup with Braised Chashu Pork Belly, Wood Ear Mushroom, Bean Sprouts, and Green Onions. You can add beef, chicken, or shrimp to customize the ramen to your own taste.

Many meat and noodle dishes are featured as well, such as Kung Pao Chicken or Hong Kong Pan-Fried Noodles.

Or try the Bento Box Combo, offering a half-size entree with steamed rice, salad and vegetable spring roll.

Reservations aren’t required and guests will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. The dress code is business casual.

  1. Pool Grill & Bar

Should you be a guest at the Westgate during the summer season, consider spending an afternoon by the pool. It’s a glorious oasis on a hot day, and we all know that Vegas can be scorching.

The Westgate Pool Grill & Bar offers a full menu of creative cocktails, with some unique offerings which are always fun.

The Dole Whip is a creamy, fruity beverage and you can add Malibu Rum to make it an adult version.

The snack menu includes the usual suspects like chips and salsa, nachos, curly fries or fresh fruit. I was delighted to see a hummus board with olives, feta, and tomatoes, served with pita bread.

You can add chicken or shrimp to the Mexican Street Corn Salad. Or for larger appetites, you can always get a burger or a wrap.

If you’re renting a cabana, there are some items that serve multiple people. The Cabana Menu items serve 4 - 6 people. Choose from chips & salsa, nachos or tacos.

  1. Fresh Buffet

The Fresh Buffet at Westgate Las Vegas is located right off the SuperBook, between there and the casino. Generally open from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM it’s an excellent choice for breakfast or lunch.

We ate breakfast there most recently in March 2023 and the staff were excellent. And who doesn’t love a Vegas buffet?

  1. Fortuna Coffee

If you’re like me, you don’t always have time for a full sit-down Westgate Las Vegas breakfast. I always want a good strong coffee in the morning, and thankfully Fortuna Coffee is right in the main lobby. Just look for the crowd!

Let’s be honest, I typically start my day at Fortuna’s. What can I say, I’m Canadian and I always want a coffee to go!

Their breakfast sandwiches and bagels are excellent as well. The ham and cheese croissant is my favorite. There’s a full selection of breakfast pastries too.

Be prepared to wait in line at least for a few minutes though, this is a popular morning destination. They serve Starbucks Coffee, and you can get espresso drinks as well.

Conveniently, they’re open 24 hours, so no matter what your schedule, you can always get a good coffee!

  1. Westgate Restaurant Room Service

Sometimes you just want to stay in your room, and at the Westgate, you can simply order room service. Available from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, you may order breakfast until 11:00 AM. Lunch and dinner items are available from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM.

The Westgate restaurant room service menu also has a full drink menu, featuring cocktails and beer, wines and spirits.
