What to wear to Hell's Kitchen Las Vegas (and Menu!)

Las Vegas is renowned for its glitz and glamour, where stylish dresses, tailored suits, and towering heels are commonplace. Hell's Kitchen has no formal dress code requirement, but that doesn't mean you should show up in your pyjamas!

Dressing for the occasion is essential when visiting Hell's Kitchen in Las Vegas. The atmosphere is upscale yet casual, so you'll want to look your best.

Located just outside Caesar's Palace on the strip, no outfit is complete without a delicious meal from Hell's Kitchen's tantalizing menu!

I don’t want to sound biased, but this is one of my absolute favorite places to eat in Las Vegas. I hope you love it as much as we do. Undoubtedly, it’s a bit spendy, but I promise you it’s so worth it!

Hell's Kitchen napkins have a golden trident on them. Very tasteful.

Dress code at Hell’s Kitchen

Hell's Kitchen Las Vegas believes the dress code is as vital for fostering a pleasant atmosphere as their incredible food. Everyone has an essential role in creating this environment through appropriate attire.

The specified dress code is business casual; think collared shirts with slacks and blazers to make an impressive statement on your night out!

Adding a bit of flair to your outfit is always encouraged at Hell's Kitchen. Feel free to accessorize with a classic look in mind.

It makes sense to consider what time of day you'll be eating at Hell's Kitchen and your plans after eating. Are you heading back to your hotel or out on the town?

Consider the time of year and whether you have an appropriate jacket or coat to accompany your outfit.

What to wear for men

Smart casual attire such as a collared shirt with smart trousers or jeans paired with a t-shirt and blazer will be accepted. Add a blazer and leather shoes to finish the look for a more stylish, chic look.

Don't be surprised if you spot someone wearing a head-to-toe three-piece suit too.

My partner wore a collared dress shirt with some light trousers, very comfortable and not overdressed at all.

Loafers or dress shoes are excellent choices in footwear.

Business casual is preferred at Hell's Kitchen, but don't be surprised if you see some men wearing suits.

What to wear for women

For women, a dress or skirt and blouse are ideal. A collared shirt and trousers or dress jeans are always appropriate.

If you opt for a dress, choose one that is not too revealing. Balance the outfit with heels or flats and fun accessories like scarves or statement jewelry.

Shoes should be well chosen, with flip flops more acceptable at lunchtime than at dinner. I wore a simple black striped dress on our most recent visit to Hell’s Kitchen. A bit dressy but still casual and quite comfortable.

A shirt dress, for example, is an excellent choice for lunch and dinner.

Additionally, bring along something light to cover up in case it gets chilly inside the restaurant.

A comfortable yet casual dress is appropriate for Hell's Kitchen Las Vegas.

2023 Hell’s Kitchen Las Vegas Menu

Hell’s Kitchen Las Vegas currently has one set of menus for the entire day rather than a different menu for lunch and dinner.

There are also vegan and vegetarian options and a Signature Prix Fixe Menu.

Appetizers

The list of appetizers makes it challenging to choose, but on this particular spring day, we felt seafood calling out to us.

I’m rarely a fan of lobster, but can I say this was one of the best risotto dishes I have ever eaten? Below is the menu description for the appetizers:

  • Lobster Risotto - “butter poached lobster tail, truffle risotto, crispy onions” ($31.95)

The lobster risotto at Hell's Kitchen Las Vegas.

  • Shrimp Cocktail - “with gin cocktail sauce” ($22.95)

The shrimp cocktail at Hell's Kitchen Las Vegas.

Next time I will opt for the Seared Foie Gras and the Steak Tartare. See the descriptions below.

  • Seared Foie Gras - “stewed cherries, Scottish shortbread, candied Marcona almonds” ($30.95)

  • Steak Tartare - “Piedmontese beef, dijon mustard aioli, black truffle caviar, sous vide egg yolk” ($26.95)

Main course and add-on

There are many excellent choices for your main course. We chose the Jidori Chicken Scallopini and added the Baked Macaroni and Cheese.

  • Jidori Chicken Scallopini - “roasted peewee potatoes, artichokes, lacinato kale, truffle chicken jus” ($39.95)

The chicken scallopini at Hell's Kitchen Las Vegas.

  • Baked Macaroni and Cheese (add-on) - “with smoked gouda and crispy prosciutto” ($16.95)

The mac n cheese is available as an add-on at Hell's Kitchen Las Vegas.

Next time, my choice will be Beef Wellington, for sure. It’s worth noting that Beef Wellington is the signature dish at Hell’s Kitchen. It’s also the star of the Prix Fixe menu.

And for the record, I’ll try all sides - Brussel Sprouts, Wild Mushrooms, and Potato Puree.

  • Beef Wellington - “potato puree, glazed root vegetables, red-wine demi-glace” ($72.95)

  • Brussel Sprouts - “maple shoyu glaze, pickled fresno chile, with glazed bacon lardon” ($16.95)

  • Wild Mushrooms - “shallot-white wine glaze” ($16.95)

  • Potato Puree - “creme fraiche, chives” ($16.95)

To be honest, I’ll be ordering the Macaroni and Cheese again too!

Dessert

Finish your meal with a sweet treat like Gordon Ramsay's Signature Sticky Toffee Pudding, and you'll be ready for the Vegas nightlife!

  • Sticky Toffee Pudding - with “dulce de leche ice cream”

Sticky Toffee Pudding at Hell's Kitchen Las Vegas. Highly recommend!

  • Pear Cheesecake - “pear cheesecake with a speculoos cookie crust, vanilla ice cream and candied walnuts”

  • Death by Chocolate - “rich chocolate fondant cake, chocolate mousse crispy pearls, brownie and cookies & cream ice cream”

  • Coconut 3 Ways - “coconut sorbet, passion fruit caramel, coconut cake”

Best deal at Hell’s Kitchen, Prix Fixe Menu

A prix fixe (pre-determined) menu is a pre-selected menu from some of the restaurant’s best dishes. It’s generally a more affordable way to get the most popular items.

It allows the restaurant to plan for high quantities of certain items to pass on some of those savings to their guests. In this case, guests can get an appetizer, salad, main course and dessert for more than 30% off the regular price.

Currently, the Prix Fixe menu features the following items:

  • Pan Seared Scallops - “celery root, braised bacon lardons, pickled granny smith apples”

  • Golden Beet Salad - “Greek yogurt, kumquats, pistachio granola, white balsamic vinaigrette”

  • Beef Wellington - “potato puree, glazed root vegetables, red wine demi-glace”

  • Sticky Toffee Pudding - “dulce de leche ice cream”

This is a quick note to say that add-ons are available with the Prix Fixe menu, and there is a wine-pairing option for an additional fee.
