The three best shopping malls in Las Vegas are conveniently located on or very close to the strip, and are quickly accessed by foot, bus, monorail, or taxi.
A weekend in Las Vegas is more than enough time to hit the three best shopping malls in town. All three are easily and quickly reached from most hotels on the strip. The Miracle Mile Shops are conveniently located at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. The enormous Fashion Show Mall is across from the Wynn and Encore hotels. And for the best outlet experience, the Premium Outlets of Las Vegas are a quick bus or taxi ride up the strip.
Miracle Mile Shops
The Miracle Mile Shops are the most conveniently located of the three malls. Within the Planet Hollywood complex which is situated between Paris Las Vegas and MGM Grand, and across the boulevard from the Bellagio fountains, the Miracle Mile Shops mall is an air-conditioned oasis of shopping heaven. It’s best to peruse a shopping directory before coming to the mall because with 170 stores and 15 restaurants, it would be easy enough to spend an entire morning or afternoon here if there is no plan of attack.
There are a number of popular U.S chain stores here so for visitors from outside the U.S, the Miracle Mile stores present a tempting array of unfamiliar brands. Young people will love Urban Outfitters for their eclectic collection of books, kooky homewares, and affordable fashion. Bakers is a well-priced shoe boutique with a gorgeous selection of shoes for all occasions including comfortable yet dressy wedges and casual but colorful flats. Keen gym-goers will find Mimi Mango tests all resolve to not buy their favorite three-quarter gym pants in every color available.
Fashion Show is the largest shopping mall on the strip and amongst the largest in the U.S. With six department stores located at Fashion Show, a foot massage will be well-earned after visiting those and the remaining 250 stores. For guests of the six-star Wynn and Encore hotels, access is via a footbridge over busy Las Vegas Boulevard. Located at the point on the strip where old and new Las Vegas meet, Fashion Show is within the convenient foot and bus distance from all hotels on the strip.
It’s impossible to visit Fashion Show and not purchase anything. Everywhere you turn, there are clean, shiny windows enticingly filled with the latest fashions in every color, style, and fabric imaginable. Bebe sell a vast array of gorgeous figure-enhancing clothes in all the season’s colors. Yogis will love Lululemon Athletica, a beacon of the latest comfort and stylish activewear. On the same upper level, parents will find it too easy to part with their cash in children’s apparel store, Justice.
Premium Outlets of Las Vegas
There are a number of outlet complexes in Las Vegas but the best is the Premium Outlets of Las Vegas. With 150 well-known brands such as Armani, Burberry, Calvin Klein, and Dolce & Gabbana, it’s possible to spend the best part of a day there. Located at the northern end of the strip, it can be accessed by the Gold Line bus service that operates up and down the strip every 12 minutes during peak hours. A taxi fare from Caesar’s Palace costs approximately $17.
During the summer months, customers are driven into the air-conditioned solace of the stores to escape the heat. The Skechers store often has sales that see shoes priced at only a little more than $10 a pair. BCBG Max Azria has current and old season stock priced well below that of the same store at Miracle Mile and Fashion Show. Nike fans can spend all their time at the huge Nike store reveling in the latest range of kicks, clothing, and accessories.
Miracle Mile, Fashion Show and Premium Outlets of Las Vegas represent the very best one-stop shopping opportunities in Las Vegas to date.
